And so it begins… The first post that will hopefully become a good collection of my sewing trials and tribulations.
What got me started? Well it certainly wasn’t school, having successfully destroyed 3 sewing machines I have had the frighteners put on me to never whisper the words ‘time I got into sewing’ ever again.
Then
I watch the GBSB, see all the wonderful blogs out there like Tillyand the Buttons, WhatKatie Sews, Lladybird and
just ‘swoon’ at all their dreamy makes and realise I’m never
fully satisfied with high street buys, and I certainly don’t have
the income to warrant designer. They are currently way beyond my
capabilities…but a girl can dream. So can I make my own clothes and
accessories? I told myself Nooo yes, this is possible and you can. So I am!
I really hope you enjoy seeing me work my way from a fledgling to a fully fledged bird in the sewing world!
If this isn't incentive to get cracking....I don't know what is!
